The build in detail

Suspension and weight uprating

So the Hilux drives safely with the cabin, it got a matched Old Man Emu suspension with rear air suspension and a gross vehicle weight uprated to 3.5 tonnes. Reinforced springs, Nitrocharger Plus shocks and a 50 mm lift, including wheel alignment, inspection and approval.

Wheels for road and terrain

To match the suspension, the Hilux sits on black DOTZ Talara alloy wheels with 265/70 R17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO3, including TPMS and approval.

Power and self-sufficiency

The onboard electrics are based on a 200 Ah LiFePO4 leisure battery from Liontron with Votronic VBCS Triple charging and energy management, a battery computer with smart shunt, shore power, a charging booster and a solar charge controller. A flexible 240-watt solar panel on the roof tops it up.

Heating and protection

A Webasto Air Top 2000 STC air heater warms the cabin. TimeMAX cavity protection and underbody coating take care of long-term protection.
