How a conversion works
Step 1
Advice
You tell us what you use the vehicle for. We take a look at it and recommend what makes sense.
Step 2

We put the parts together and prepare a quote. You know the costs before any work begins.
Step 3
Build
We carry out the conversion in our workshop. If you like, we send you photos of the progress along the way.
Step 4
Inspection and handover
TÜV Hanse inspects the conversion on site at our workshop. At handover we explain all the new components to you.

FAQ about conversions
Your question is not listed? Call us or send us a message.
Does a conversion need to be registered?
Many changes to suspension, tyres, lighting and add-ons have to be registered. We tell you before the job which inspection your conversion needs.
What is a parts certificate?
A parts certificate is a test report supplied by the manufacturer for a specific part, for example a suspension kit or underbody protection. It confirms that the part is suitable for your vehicle. In that case a modification inspection under § 19 StVZO is sufficient.
What happens if there is no parts certificate?
Then the inspector examines the vehicle with the fitted part individually. This is called an individual inspection under § 21 StVZO and involves more effort. We clarify with you before fitting whether it is possible.
Do you also convert vehicles that were not bought from you?
Yes, the vehicle does not have to come from us.
Can I bring my own parts?
We prefer to fit parts that we source ourselves. We are not tied to any manufacturer and can supply most well-known brands. In exceptional cases, for example a gift or a voucher, we also fit parts you bring along. If you find a part significantly cheaper elsewhere, talk to us about it.
Conversion tailored to how you use your vehicle
Every conversion starts with the question of what you use your vehicle for, for example weekends off-road, long journeys or everyday driving with the occasional trip into the terrain. Suspension, payload and equipment depend on this.
Planning, fitting and inspection are all handled by us. You have one contact person for the entire conversion.
