As your Alu-Cab contact in northern Germany, we built this Toyota Hilux into a travel-ready expedition vehicle: Alu-Cab ModCAP Family on the load bed and OME BP51 suspension with rear air springs, plus a gross vehicle weight uprated to 3,500 kg.

The build in detail
Camper module on the load bed
An Alu-Cab ModCAP Family, a living module with a pop-top roof, sits on the load bed. A Front Runner Slimsport roof rack with an Osram VX 1000 carries accessories and lighting, plus a Paxson box and Maxtrax recovery boards.
Suspension under load
So the Hilux drives safely even fully loaded, it sits on OME BP51 suspension with rear air springs. Uprating the gross vehicle weight to 3,500 kg adds reserves for the build and luggage.
Recovery and protection
A Rival front bumper with a WARN EVO 12 S winch, with Rival underbody protection beneath it. The Safari snorkel draws air from above, for deeper water crossings and less dust in the engine.
Wheels and rust protection
Dotz Talara wheels with 265/70 R17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain. Plus TimeMAX cavity protection and underbody coating against rust and moisture.
