Toyota Hilux
AluCab ModCap Family and a suspension that doesn't buckle even under load. Your AluCab contact in the north.
The build
From stock to trail tool
As your contact for AluCab in Northern Germany, we built this Toyota Hilux into a travel-ready expedition vehicle: AluCab ModCap Family on the load bed and an OME BP51 suspension with air springs on the rear axle that doesn't buckle even fully loaded, including a GVWR upgrade to 3.500 kg.
Travel-ready
Built for the big trip
AluCab ModCap Family, BP51 and GVWR upgrade to 3.500 kg.
Your camp on the load bed
At its heart is the AluCab ModCap Family, a rugged, durable living module for the load bed that stands travel-ready in minutes. A Frontrunner Slimsport roof rack with Osram VX 1000 carries accessories and lighting, plus a Paxson Box and Maxtrax recovery boards for order and self-recovery on the road.
Suspension under load
So the Hilux stays composed even fully loaded, an OME BP51 suspension with air springs on the rear axle sits underneath. It doesn't buckle under load, holds its stance and springs cleanly, whether on the motorway or off-road. The GVWR upgrade to 3.500 kg gives extra reserves for the build and luggage.
